Derek Martin

Bio: Derek Grant Martin is thrilled to be performing for the first time with Alluvion and he is grateful for this role. He serves as the Chairman of Theatre Arts and as an Associate Professor of Theatre at Liberty University. He has spent the last 25+ years as an award winning actor, director, choreographer, producer, tap-dancer, musician, singer, educator, speaker, and consultant working professionally in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment. Derek is a member of Actors Equity Association, Associate Member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and has been recognized actor-combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors.

He has worked professionally at many recognized theatres such as: Sacramento Theatre Company, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, The York Theatre Company (NYC), Virginia Stage Company, Virginia Musical Theatre, The historic Palace Theatre (Manchester, NH) and The Musical Theatre of Connecticut to name a few. Derek has performed in such shows as “SINGIN IN THE RAIN (Don Lockwood), THE MUSIC MAN (Harold Hill), THE MAN OF LA MANCHA (The Padre) , MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS (Victor Fleming), TREASURE ISLAND (Old Blind Pew), THE THREE MUSKETEERS (Monsieur Dartangnan), WEST SIDE STORY (Riff), THE SECRET GARDEN (Archibald Craven), A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Puck), and PETER AND THE STARCATCHER (Black Stache) to name a few.  He was a lead role in the multiple-award winning short film, “THE NOBLE LIE”, has choreographed Broadway veteran, Carol Jaudes in her one-woman international tour of “And Sarah Laughed” with the Salvation Army, and performed as “Chris” in the table-read cast of CBN’s hit animated series, “SUPERBOOK!”

Bio: DALLYN VAIL BAYLES is a professional actor, singer, recording artist, and educator. He performed the roles of the Phantom and Raoul on the Broadway touring company of The Phantom of the Opera, and starred in the national and international Broadway tours of Les Misérables. Other acting credits include leading roles in numerous regional theater productions nationwide and award-winning films. As a concert soloist, Dallyn has been featured in productions at the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and other notable venues across the country with several distinguished performers and musicians, including The Tabernacle Choir. He has recorded several albums with songs featured in films and popular music videos with millions of views. Dallyn is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory and Brigham Young University, and works as a theatre professor at Southern Virginia University. He has been awarded the Utah Governor’s Performing Artist Award and the BYU Young Alumni Distinguished Service Award. Bio: Jennifer Hope (Mrs. Pearce) is honored to be making her Alluvion debut in a show she is always grateful to revisit since she first fell in love with it in her mother’s record collection when she was 9 years old. This is her 3rd professional production of My Fair Lady, having previously played Eliza Doolittle and various ensemble roles.

Jennifer majored in opera at Rutgers University, and has since performed alongside Stephen Schwartz, Jason Robards, Jessye Norman, and Luciano Pavarotti in a career that has taken her to 43 of the United States and 5 different continents.

Jennifer has also taught voice and audition technique in her private studio for over 2 decades, and is extremely proud of the work her students have done in their careers in Broadway tours, on television, in films, radio, and streaming media, as well as in production and direction of stage shows.

Jennifer can be heard on the Original Toronto Cast Album of “Hockey: The Musical!” in the role of Elizabeth Grey.

Growing up immersed in theater dance, she is especially excited to step back into this style and bring her passion to the stage in a new way. As a child, she had the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center with the Joffrey Ballet, an experience she will always cherish. Faith feels blessed by the support and opportunity provided by the professors in the theater department.
