Auditions and Production Interviews for


Adult Auditions for WILL ROGERS FOLLIES  will be held during the late afternoons & evenings of September 24 & 25,  with dance auditions and callbacks later on the same audition evening.

Children’s Auditions will be held late afternoon/evening of September 26. 

Production Interviews will also be held the afternoons/evenings of September 24 & 25.

Adult Auditions/Interviews are open to both Equity and Non-Equity actors/technicians 18 & older.

Child Actor Auditions are open to children 8-14.

Audition Information

There are 26 adult roles and 4 child actor roles available to be cast.  The role of Will Rogers has been cast.

Please email Alluvion Stage Company ( to schedule an audition time. Auditions will be held in Rehearsal Room 2 (Green Hall 1004) of Liberty University's Department of Theatre Arts. 

Dance auditions will be held in Rehearsal Room 1 (Green Hall 1008) at each evening.

If you are unable to attend the auditions in person, please email your resume, headshot, and a link to a digital audition (YouTube or Vimeo preferably), to the address above by 11:59 p.m. on September 25, 2018. Please include the following in all video auditions: 1 song, 1 monologue (see below for details), 32 counts of tap dance, as well as anything else you would like to show (i.e. Acrobatics, juggling, etc.).

Auditions  Requirements:

·         Headshot & resume with professional theater/film/commercial experience listed

·         30 seconds of a romantic, folk, or Americana monologue

·         16 measures of a Broadway classic musical comedy/romance

·         Tap shoes for dance auditions

Production Interview Information

There are 16 production positions available for hire.

To schedule a Production Interview for September 24 or 25, please email Alluvion Stage Company  ( beginning on August 1. Production Interviews will be held in the Theatre Department conference room (Green Hall 1878).

If you are unable to attend the interviews in person, please email your resume and cover letter explaining the position(s) you prefer to the address above by 11:59 p.m. on September 25, 2018. If necessary, the Assistant Production Manager will conduct a phone interview. Production positions are available in the areas of Stage Management, Props, Wardrobe, Hair/Makeup, Deck Chief, Automation, Rigging, Lights, Sound, Projections, Fly Crew, and Running Crew.

Production Interview Requirements:

·         A hard-copy resume 

·         A production portfolio is recommended, but not required.


Most contracts will run January 2 – February 10, 2019.  Not all contracts will begin on the same day. Contracts do not include meal plans; housing discussions will take place alongside contract negotiations. Callbacks and additional interviews may not be necessary. AEA Actors will be given priority in scheduling requests for audition slots, and any AEA member who arrives for an audition without having signed up will be seen as soon as possible.
