Auditions and Production Interviews for


Auditions for HELLO, DOLLY!  will be held during the afternoons & evenings of May 16 and 21,  with dance auditions and callbacks later on the same audition afternoon/evening. Production Interviews will be held the mornings of May 16 & 21.

Auditions/Interviews are open to both Equity and Non-Equity actors/technicians 18 & older.

Audition Information

There are 40 adult roles available to be cast.

Please email Alluvion Stage Company ( to schedule an audition time. Auditions will be held in Rehearsal Room 2 (Green Hall 1004) of Liberty University's Department of Theatre Arts.  Dance auditions will be held in Rehearsal Room 1 (Green Hall 1008) at 4 and 9 p.m. each day.


If you are unable to attend the auditions in person, please emaill your resume, headshot, and a link to a digital audition (YouTube or Vimeo preferably), to the address above by 11:59 p.m. on May 21, 2018. Please include the following in all video auditions: 1 song, 1 monologue (see below for details), 32 counts of jazz/Broadway style dance, as well as anything else you would like to show (i.e. Acrobatics, juggling, etc.).


Auditions  Requirements:

·         Headshot & resume with professional theater/film/commercial experience listed

·         30 seconds of a romantic, folk, or Americana monologue

·         16 measures of a Broadway classic musical comedy/romance

·         Jazz shoes for dance auditions


Production Interview Information

There are 14 production positions available for hire.

To schedule a Production Interview for the mornings of May 16 or 21, please email Alluvion Stage Company  ( Production Interviews will be held in the Theatre Department conference room (Green Hall 1878).


If you are unable to attend the interviews in person, please email your resume and cover letter explaining the position(s) you prefer to the address above by 11:59 p.m. on May 21, 2018. If necessary, the Assistant Production Manager will conduct a phone interview. Production positions are available in the areas of Stage Management, Props, Wardrobe, Hair/Makeup, Automation, Rigging, Lights, Sound, Projections, and Running Crew.


Production Interview Requirements:

·         A hard-copy resume 

·         A production portfolio is recommended, but not required.


Most contracts will run August 13 – September 30, 2018.  Not all contracts will begin on the same day. Contracts do not include meal plans; housing discussions will take place alongside contract negotiations. Callbacks and additional interviews may not be necessary.

AEA Actors will be given priority in scheduling requests for audition slots, and any AEA member who arrives for an audition without having signed up will be seen as soon as possible.
